Context
Over the winter of 2022, I worked at Fusemachines as an Intern on the design team on the employee seat booking and management platform to create a mobile app and dashboard for managing employee seat bookings. Booking Management : I designed the mobile app for booking seat for employees and a booking management system for HR to track the bookings.
Design Challenge
Enabling employees to book seat in the office building.
As part of a challenge, I was tasked with designing a mobile application that would enable employees to reserve their seats prior to arriving at the office and a dashboard design for HR to manage seat bookings. The resulting design prototype that I created is showcased below.
Dashboard Design
A dashboard for HR to manage employee seat bookings.
I was also responsible for creating dashboard designs for the platform, which would aid in the employee management of the office. During this process, I got to learn more about web design and also learned the fundamentals of front-end development.
